All walks take place at Ashton Court or Leigh Woods which are a safe distance away from any busy roads. All dogs are returned home towel dried and as clean as possible.
For high energy dogs who never seem to tire after their usual daily walks with their owners, I offer a two hour quick paced walk which has never failed to tire out even the most energetic dogs.
With your permission, I will occasionally take the dogs down to the beach for a good old soggy, sandy run around. Your dog will be returned home towel dried, tired and very happy, if not a little salty!
All new dog walking clients are offered a free introductory walk where you and your dog are invited to tag along with me and the pack. For solo walk clients a home visit and short walk near to your home is offered free of charge.
On these introductory walks we can discuss your dogs likes and dislikes (e.g ball games and bicycles) and I can answer any questions you may have.
Luxury day care for dogs: Dogs get to spend the day relaxing and playing whilst being supervised by me in my large cosy office. Your dog spends their day in a loving homely environment that is full of comfy beds and exciting toys. A typical day involves:
- A morning walk at Ashton Court or Leigh Woods (1 hour)
- Back to the house for rest and play
- A mid day stroll around the secure park that is 200 yards from my house
- Back to the house for more rest and play
- An afternoon walk at Ashton Court or Leigh Woods (1 hour)
Any feeding or medicating can be done upon request at no extra cost.
All new day care clients are offered a free introduction walk where you and your dog are invited to join me on a walk. Alternatively you are welcome to bring your dog round for an introduction at my house, or I can come and visit you.
During the introduction meeting we can discuss your dogs day care at length and I can answer any questions you may have.
Home Visits: I'll visit your home for up to 45 minutes and during this time I'll clean your pets environment (cage, litter tray, hutch etc), clean their food and water bowls before and/or after feeding.
I can administer any medication and groom them if I'm required to, as well as giving them lots of fuss and attention.
I'll also draw curtains, turn on/off lights, water plants, feed fish and move post from the door if you'd like me to.
If you're on holiday I can also give you text updates about your pet and home to put your mind at ease.
A free introductory meeting is offered to all new home visit clients.
Vet Visits: A hectic lifestyle or lack of transport can sometimes make getting to the vets difficult. With several pets of own I've visited the vets more times than I can remember. I know what questions to ask and what information to relay back to you as well as soothing your pet and trying to make the journey as stress free as possible for them.
Pet Taxi: If you need your pet to be driven somewhere but are unable to do it yourself then I can do it for you. My car is kitted out with comfy dog beds (no cages!) and also has a passenger seat that is suitable for transporting pet carriers safely.
Key Collection: If you are stuck at work or elsewhere I can come and get your keys off you. Once I've finished caring for your pet I can then return them back to you at your desired location. This option is popular with busy people who don't want to leave a key outside the house in a hiding place or who don't want to get a spare set cut.
Horses: I grew up owning ponies and helping my Aunt with her livery yard. As well as mucking out and grooming, I was used to break in youngsters and also used for taming shy horses as I had a knack at getting them used to human contact.
Going to college and moving to the city meant that I could no longer keep a pony or afford to go riding as much as I liked to. However, I am still more than capable of looking after them and taking them for hacks while you are away.
Special Requirements: If you have any special requirements regarding your pet while they are in my care please do not hesitate to let me know. Whether they have just had surgery, cannot be walked off the lead, hate having their tummy tickled or are a fussy eater that needs encouragement I will take this on board and follow your instructions.
